Wanted!! Green grass like this in Minnesota!

This is probably the toughest month of the entire year for Nicholas as he patiently or not so patiently waits for the snow to melt so he can golf.

Easter Break Some like it HOT and some like it COLD....

The Easter Bunny found some of us home in Fergus Falls!
Jeff and Grandpa My dad certainly doesn't look 90 does he!
Cousin Cole enjoying sliding by our house with Oreo chasing him down the hill.
This Easter our family was all over the country. Nick and Richard went to Arizona to warm up Nick's golf clubs for the golf season. Jeff , Oreo and I stayed home and entertained my side of the family while Lindsay spent Easter with Sam and his family in Mandan, ND. Both Jeff and Lindsay had had a trip with a parent in the past so Nick thought it was his turn. He chose Arizona. In Mesa, Richard has 3 aunts and uncles and they found themselves staying with Uncle Jerry and Bonnie. The B and J Inn was perfect ( yes right on the golf course) and the rest of us think they were spoiled! Thanks Jerry and Bonnie for making this a wonderful vacation for the guys. You have the gift of hospitality! They also enjoyed a breakfast with Dennis and Dorothy and Easter dinner at Dean and Charlottes. Heading back to the classroom was just a little bit difficult this week!

Here is the hot part of Easter!

After a long Minnesota winter that watermelon loooks great!

A few of you have asked if I video taped the song that Lindsay wrote and sang at the wedding.
So, here she is singing it , ear infection and all. Sorry Linz....next time I will take you more seriously when you say your ear hurts. Hope you are feeling better!

A wedding week-end!

Here is my niece Allyson. She was a beautiful bride!
Here are the Risbrudt's and company at the wedding
Lindsay and Sam.
Jeff and Chelsea

Denise's niece Allyson was married this week-end. Our family traveled to Wausau, Wisconsin for the celebration. It was great to be with family. I was having some trouble with my camera this week-end but I will post some pictures of the event. Lindsay and Jeff were both invited to bring a guest so Sam and Chelsea were with us. We had a girls and guys room at the motel. Richard and I saw each other a little bit! I laughed when I announced to my family one morning at breakfast that I was the first one of my family to make it down for breakfast. They informed me that Richard had already been there!

These 3 act like they are up to something! Looking guilty to me.
The bride and her sister Jenny the maid of honor.
No it is not the "runaway bride". At this reception there was no clinking of glasses. If you wanted the bride and groom to kiss you had to sing a song with the word love in it or demonstrate to them a "fun" kiss. Here Ally is trying to repeat the performance by running across the room to kiss her groom.
Lindsay, Sam , Jeff and Chelsea.
Lindsay sang at the wedding a song that she had written.

These are my dad's siblings. My uncle Vern (my dad's youngest brother)with his wife Judy and my Aunt Doris my dad's sister. They made the drive over from the Milwaukee area. It was fun to see them.
Here are the bride's parents. My sister Jane and her husband Ron.
The three people in the middle of this picture are my mom's siblings Delayne, Mel and Penny. My sister Sandy is across from me and we are joined with cousins Jana and Nancy.
It is tradition to get a cousins picture at each cousin's wedding Here are Ally and Pete with the cousins. We are just missing 3 of us. Nate is in Iraq. Kristin in Boston and Brad. They have changed alot since they use to run all over Grandma and Grandpa's house!
The groom is throwing the garter. Nicholas seems to be running interference here. No one connected to the Risbrudt's caught the garter !
