Richard and I have really enjoyed the FFHS graduation services since he started teaching at the high school. There are three students who share about their school experiences , the choir, band and orchestra perform songs that have been carefully prepared and it is a lot of fun to watch the students get their diplomas. This year I was sitting in the front listening to the band play prior to the processional when I realized Nicholas was not playing. I saw him get dressed for the graduation, I saw him leave for the graduation but he was not sitting there playing his saxophone. So, I text messaged him with this note...WHY AREN"T YOU AT SCHOOL PLAYING IN THE BAND!! I had just sent it off when I looked over my shoulder and this is what I saw....

This is Richard along with two other teachers and a support staff member who were voted by the class as being the most influential people in the their life. Ms Vicki in the black and silver is actually related to Richard. She is a third grade teacher. They are with Jane Schier the school secretary and Mark Boen a 4th grade teacher.
